Video content is one of those things that as the years have gone on, it's truly become a non-negotiable when it comes to growing your online presence. Instagram used to be strictly for sharing photos, and look how that has evolved over the years. After seeing the success of YouTube and TikTok, even the head of IG himself, Adam Mosseri, has made a public claim this year that IG is no longer a photo-sharing app!

Is video content more work? Theoretically, yes, it takes more effort, but wouldn't you rather take the extra time to create something amazing that you know will resonate with your audience and produce more engagement? We say YES - post with purpose! ☝️

If you say you don't have the time, we won't tell you to make the time... we understand it's more complicated than that, but we'll tell you to find someone who CAN. You may have a small team that is at capacity, so this would be a reason to outsource to the professionals. Of course, post with purpose, poise, and you want it to make sense, but if you are very nervous and overthinking the process, those nerves will transfer over. Your audience will catch on to that and it can come across as disingenuous or inconsistent. Most importantly, be yourself and stay true to your brand!
